As part of the City's ongoing efforts to celebrate its colourful past, a project engaging musicians that are currently living in the City or who came from here, was undertaken last June.

A public call was issued inviting musicians to donate an original song about the City and compete for a spot on an anniversary CD that would feature 15 tracks about the City of Timmins, life in Northern Ontario's great outdoors or work in the underground mines, the backbone of our community.
