Though I live in Ottawa, this movie brought back many memories and made me feel proud to be from Timmins; as all of my family is still there. I really enjoyed wathcing this movie as it was really from the heart and not a hollywood production.

I was sad to see that the movie did not really cover much from the 1960's to present day and lacked any real mention of all of the famous people who came from Timmins. The movie left me wondering if there will be a part 2. Perhaps a better title would be the early years.

Anyway - it was great and a job well done.

It was a Christmas gift and I will cherish it for years to come.

In South End, the scraped snow was pushed through a hatch located in the north-end boards. From there it descended into a "melting bin" located in the arena's basement. Melting was hastened by a water-spray system & end result went into the storm sewer system.

Does anyone know where Jeanne Larche is buried. I don't belive she's buried here in Timmins.
She was a great piano player. She was employed at the town hall in Timmins as a receptionist and helped many people filling out legal forms for pensions and such and was also secretary to the now defunct Timmins Musician's associartion.
I scoured the Timmins cemetery with no avail.
Thanks. I'm at paulhenryd@yahoo.com
